| Since most companies hire their managers from within, organizations must commit to developing the talent and skills of these managers in order for them to be successful. Companies that actively groom their next generation of leaders tend to view management training as an essential component of their on-going successful business operations. Conversely, companies that do not achieve exceptional results tend to view management training as a luxury. Can your organization afford the luxury of not investing in your future? |
| Step 1's specialized training curriculum, "Practical Management Magic", is designed to help managers more effectively perform on the job, providing them the tools necessary to execute their responsibilities with confidence and control. |
Management Skills Profile - Utilizing online profiling services, each participant's potential for management success is evaluated by comparing their strengths against widely accepted characteristics for strong leaders. Areas for improvement are identified, providing the manager's direct supervisor a concise and clear guide for helping the manager to succeed. |
Practical Training - Individuals (or groups) are provided practical classroom training that focuses on the essential fundamentals of management (instead of theory), such as how to delegate critical tasks, how to manage former peers and understanding the "economics" of management (like reading and understanding a financial statement). This comprehensive 12 module training program can be delivered offsite, onsite or via an e-learning portal and is scheduled to be “work friendly”. |
Active Mentoring - Because no classroom can anticipate all of the potential problems a manager will deal with, each participant is provided ongoing, personalized active mentoring to guide them through the challenges they will face every day. With unlimited telephone access and regularly scheduled face-to-face sessions, these leaders will have an objective resource that they know and trust to turn to for suggestions and advice. |
